Abstract

A device for performing at least one medical function on a user is proposed. The device has at least one medical functional element that is designed to perform the medical function. The medical function is selected from a diagnostic, a therapeutic and a surgical function. The device has at least one evaluation and control part that comprises at least one actuation component for controlling the medical function. The evaluation and control part has at least one casing and at least one battery receptacle. The battery receptacle comprises at least one electrical energy reservoir, more particularly at least one battery. The battery receptacle is designed to be opened irreversibly by the user for removing the energy reservoir.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A method for disposing of components of an evaluation and control part of a device comprising at least one medical functional element that is designed to perform a medical function, wherein the medical function is selected from a diagnostic, a therapeutic and a surgical function; and at least one evaluation and control part, wherein the evaluation and control part has at least one actuation component for controlling the medical function, wherein the evaluation and control part has at least one casing and at least one battery receptacle, wherein the battery receptacle comprises at least one energy reservoir, and wherein the battery receptacle is designed to be opened irreversibly by a user for removing the energy reservoir;
 the method comprising: irreversibly opening the battery receptacle to remove the energy reservoir; removing the energy reservoir from the battery receptacle; and disposing the energy reservoir separately from remaining components of the evaluation and control part.

       2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the evaluation and control part has at least one disposable and at least one reusable, wherein the disposable and the reusable can be reversibly interconnected, wherein the reusable has the at least one actuation component for controlling the medical function, wherein the disposable has at least one disposable casing and the at least one battery receptacle, wherein a connection between the disposable and the reusable is separated during the method, wherein the energy reservoir is disposed of separately from remaining components of the disposable.

       3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein a battery-receptacle casing of the battery receptacle is irreversibly separated from the casing of the evaluation and control part, wherein the battery receptacle is subsequently opened irreversibly to remove the energy reservoir.
