Clamping device for a file
Abstract
In order to make possible a convenient, problem-free and loss-proof handling of the clamp on the binder as well as a release of inserted, clamped leaves in as many states of use of the binder as possible, in the new clamp (1) with essentially U-shaped cross-section, two legs (2, 3) being interconnected via a back (4) and being capable of being spread apart elastically at their free longitudinal edges (6, 7) which define between them a clamping gap (10), the free longitudinal edge (6) of one leg (2) being, in relation to that (7) of the other leg (3), designed in the region of a front-side end (8), for forming an insertion mouth (9), with a spacing (a) from the free longitudinal edge (7) of the other leg (3), which increases towards this end (8). In the new binder, such a clamp is fixed pivotably movably at a small spacing from the folding edge on at least one of two binder covers interconnected along a folding edge. <IMAGE>
