Abstract

The coffer dam (10) incorporates a tapered bag (12) which surrounds a tooth. There is a row of projections (11) positioned along curved lines on the sides of the bag. The projections may be cut off to leave small holes. The bracket may consist of a flat approximately oval plate (13) with a raised rim (14) round the edge, formed in one piece with the bag.
