Carrying case for an optical fiber cutter

Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the symmetrical carrying case for an optical fiber cutter as shown in the drawings; the carrying case for an optical fiber cutter in the closed position presents an upper section, a lower section, and a generally rectangular shape in plan view with curved corner areas; the upper section presents generally parallel sides surfaces, a rear surface, and a flat top surface with a generally rectangular area thereon; the top surface merges into a downwards and forwards sloped front surface; the lower section presents a rear surface and side surfaces which are aligned with the rear and side surfaces of the upper section, and a flat bottom surface which is parallel to the top surface of the upper section; the adjacent edges of the side surfaces of the upper and lower sections present a generally horizontal rear edge which merges into a downwards and forwards straight forward edge; the lower section also presents a front surface which is short and vertical having a central recessed area therein which extends part way into the lower front surface of the upper section.
