The present invention comprises a new and distinct cultivar of verbena, named Verbena ‘Freebie Purple’, that is characterized by: a) Fast rooting; b) Vigorous prostate growth; c) Floriferous and long blooming; d) Good tolerance to high and low temperature extremes; and e) Unique violet-purple flower color.
