Abstract
A new and distinct cultivar of crapemyrtle, ‘GAMAD VIII’, is provided. ‘GAMAD VIII’ is a Lagerstroemia indica×Lagerstroemia fauriei hybrid. The new variety is characterized by intermediate-size, upright growth habit, good mildew resistance, and earlier flowering with abundant pale pink flowers.
