Abstract

A new cultivar of artichoke named ‘SJ215’ that is distinguishable by its upright habit and numerous tightly compact immature edible flower buds that are pale-violet in color. In combination these traits set ‘SJ215’ apart from all other existing cultivars of Cynara scolymus known to the inventor.
