Abstract
A new and distinct plant cultivar of Baptisia plant named ‘Vanilla Cream II’ characterized by creamy-yellow flowers on long spikes beginning in late May in Michigan and continuing for about three weeks. The new plant is a winter-hardy, herbaceous perennial and produces multiple heavily-branched stems in a thick mound with tri-foliate foliage that emerges chartreuse with grey-purple blush on the margin and matures to a slight glaucous bluish-green. The new plant is suitable for landscaping as a specimen or en masse.
