OFDM signal transmission system, portable terminal and E-commerce system

Abstract

A portable terminal includes a receiver, a barcode former configured to form barcodes and a display. The barcode former forms a barcode from the data received by the receiver and the display displays the formed barcode.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A portable terminal, comprising:
 a receiver configured to receive data;   a barcode former configured to form barcode data from the received data, the barcode data including a plurality of display barcodes, information representing the display order of the plurality of display barcodes, information representing a total number of the plurality of display barcodes and information representing an end of the display of the plurality of display barcodes, each of the display barcodes is displayed with predetermined non-display periods between display periods of the display barcodes;   a display configured to display, in order, the display barcodes included in the barcode data; and   a detector configured to detect light or a signal from a barcode reader,   wherein the display is switched, from the currently displayed display barcode to the display barcode next in the display order, according to the detection result of the detector.   
     
     
       2. The portable terminal according to  claim 1 , wherein the light or the signal includes information from which the detector can determine that the barcode reader has completed reading of the displayed barcode. 
     
     
       3. A reservation system comprising, a center of the service provider and a portable terminal, the portable terminal comprising control circuitry, communication circuitry and a display, the control circuitry operable to:
 perform a reservation process with a service provider via the communication circuitry, ticket information and a start time being received at the portable terminal during the reservation process, the ticket information permitting a user of the portable terminal to enter a facility associated with the ticket information, the start time indicating a time from when the facility is scheduled to start moving;   store, in a storage, the ticket information and the start time;   control the display to display, on a same display screen, a first display barcode representing the ticket information and the start time, and a second display barcode representing ID information relating to the user of the portable terminal,   wherein the first display barcode and the second barcode, displayed on the display screen, are scannable at the associated facility; and control the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal a predetermined time before the start time by using the start time without using a location of the facility;   the center of the service provider operable to:   set a flag indicating prohibition of use for the ticket information to “ON” when the first display barcode and the second display barcode are scanned;   judge whether the user of the portable terminal reenters the facility within a predetermined time; and,   change the flag from “ON” to “OFF” when the user of the portable terminal reenters the facility within the predetermined time.    
     
     
       4. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ID information of the user of the portable terminal comprises a password of the user of the portable terminal.  
     
     
       5. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ID information of the user of the portable terminal comprises a telephone number of the portable terminal.  
     
     
       6. The portable terminal according to claim 3 further comprising a memory, wherein the ID information of the user of the portable terminal is stored in the memory.  
     
     
       7. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information comprises an airplane ticket, and the facility comprises an airplane.  
     
     
       8. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information comprises a movie ticket, and the facility comprises a movie theater.  
     
     
       9. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information comprises a music concert ticket, and the facility comprises a music concert hall.  
     
     
       10. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information comprises an entrance ticket for an amusement park, and the facility comprises the amusement park.  
     
     
       11. The portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information comprises an entrance ticket for a sports stadium, and the facility comprises the sports stadium.  
     
     
       12. A center of a service provider comprising a processor, said processor operable to:
 set a flag indicating prohibition of use for a ticket information to “ON” when a first display barcode is scanned, the ticket information permitting a user of a portable terminal to enter a facility associated with the ticket information, the first display barcode representing the ticket information and a start time and being displayed in a display of the portable terminal;   judge whether the user of the portable terminal reenters the facility within a predetermined time; and,   change the flag from “ON” to “OFF” when the user of the portable terminal reenters the facility within the predetermined time,   wherein the portable terminal, with which the center of service provider can communicate, includes control circuitry that is operative   to perform a reservation process with the service provider via communication circuitry, in which the ticket information and the start time are received at the portable terminal during the reservation process, the start time related to a time from when the facility is scheduled to start moving; and   to control the display to display the first display barcode, the first display barcode is scannable at the associated facility and to control the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal a predetermined time before the start time by using the start time without using a location of the facility.    
     
     
       13. The center of a service provider according to claim 12, wherein the ticket information comprises an airplane ticket, and the facility comprises an airplane.  
     
     
       14. The center of a service provider according to claim 12, wherein the ticket information comprises a movie ticket, and the facility comprises a movie theater.  
     
     
       15. The center of a service provider according to claim 12, wherein the ticket information comprises a music concert ticket, and the facility comprises a music concert hall.  
     
     
       16. The center of a service provider according to claim 12, wherein the ticket information comprises an entrance ticket for an amusement park, and the facility comprises the amusement park.  
     
     
       17. The center of a service provider according to claim 12, wherein the ticket information comprises an entrance ticket for a sports stadium, and the facility comprises the sports stadium.
