OFDM signal transmission system, portable terminal and E-commerce system

Abstract

A portable terminal includes a receiver, a barcode former configured to form barcodes and a display. The barcode former forms a barcode from the data received by the receiver and the display displays the formed barcode.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. A portable terminal, comprising:
 a receiver configured to receive data;   a barcode former configured to form barcode data from the received data, the barcode data including a plurality of display barcodes, information representing the display order of the plurality of display barcodes, information representing a total number of the plurality of display barcodes and information representing an end of the display of the plurality of display barcodes, each of the display barcodes is displayed with predetermined non-display periods between display periods of the display barcodes;   a display configured to display, in order, the display barcodes included in the barcode data; and   a detector configured to detect light or a signal from a barcode reader,   wherein the display is switched, from the currently displayed display barcode to the display barcode next in the display order, according to the detection result of the detector.   
     
     
       2. The portable terminal according to  claim 1 , wherein the light or the signal includes information from which the detector can determine that the barcode reader has completed reading of the displayed barcode. 
     
     
       3. A method of operating a portable terminal, the portable terminal having a memory, the method comprising:
 acquiring from a service provider via communication circuitry, ticket information, a starting time and place information related to a facility, the ticket information permitting a user of the portable terminal to utilize the facility, the starting time being related to a time at which an event at the facility starts, the facility comprising an amusement venue;   storing, in the memory, the ticket information, the place information and the starting time; and   controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal a predetermined time before the starting time using the stored starting time and without using a location of the amusement venue,   wherein the event comprises an amusement event to be shown at the amusement venue,   the ticket information comprises a ticket for the amusement event, and   the starting time comprises a time related to a start time of the amusement event.    
     
     
       4. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 3,
 wherein the amusement venue comprises a music theater,   the amusement event comprises a musical performance to be performed at the music theater,   the ticket information comprises a ticket for the music performance,   the starting time comprises a time related to a start time of the musical performance, and   the place information related to the facility comprises a location of the music theater.    
     
     
       5. The method according to claim 4, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a speaker of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       6. The method according to claim 4, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a vibrator of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       7. The method of operating a portable terminal of according to claim 4, wherein the ticket information includes the start time.  
     
     
       8. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 4, the portable terminal further comprising a display, wherein the controlling controls the display to display the ticket information on the display, the ticket information being displayed at the display as a scannable ticket.  
     
     
       9. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 8, wherein the scannable ticket displayed at the display is generated based on the ticket information.  
     
     
       10. The method of operating a portable terminal, according to claim 3,
 wherein the amusement venue comprises a sports stadium,   the amusement event comprises a game to be played at the sports stadium,   the ticket information comprises an entrance ticket for the sports stadium,   the starting time comprises a time related to a start time of the game, and   the place information related to the facility comprises a location of the sports stadium.    
     
     
       11. The method according to claim 10, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a speaker of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       12. The method according to claim 10, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a vibrator of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       13. The method of operating a portable terminal of according to claim 10, wherein the ticket information includes the start time.  
     
     
       14. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 10, the portable terminal further comprising a display, wherein the controlling controls the display to display the ticket information on the display, the ticket information being displayed at the display as a scannable ticket.  
     
     
       15. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 14, wherein the scannable ticket displayed at the display is generated based on the ticket information.  
     
     
       16. The method according to claim 3, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a speaker of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       17. The method according to claim 3, further comprising
 controlling the portable terminal to notify the user of the portable terminal, by a vibrator of the portable terminal, at the predetermined time before the starting time.    
     
     
       18. The method of operating a portable terminal of according to claim 3, wherein the ticket information includes the start time.  
     
     
       19. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 3, the portable terminal further comprising a display, wherein the controlling controls the display to display the ticket information on the display, the ticket information being displayed at the display as a scannable ticket.  
     
     
       20. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 19, wherein the scannable ticket displayed at the display is generated based on the ticket information.  
     
     
       21. The method of operating a portable terminal according to claim 3, wherein the amusement venue comprises a movie theater,
 the amusement event comprises a movie to be screened at the movie theater,   the ticket information comprises a ticket for the movie,   the starting time comprises a time related to a start time of the movie, and   the place information related to the facility comprises a location of the movie theater.
