Abstract

A portable terminal includes a receiver, a barcode former configured to form barcodes and a display. The barcode former forms a barcode from the data received by the receiver and the display displays the formed barcode.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A portable terminal, comprising:
a receiver configured to receive data; a barcode former configured to form barcode data from the received data, the barcode data including a plurality of display barcodes, information representing the display order of the plurality of display barcodes, information representing a total number of the plurality of display barcodes and information representing an end of the display of the plurality of display barcodes, each of the display barcodes is displayed with predetermined non-display periods between display periods of the display barcodes; a display configured to display, in order, the display barcodes included in the barcode data; and a detector configured to detect light or a signal from a barcode reader, wherein the display is switched, from the currently displayed display barcode to the display barcode next in the display order, according to the detection result of the detector.

       2. The portable terminal according to claim 1 , wherein the light or the signal includes information from which the detector can determine that the barcode reader has completed reading of the displayed barcode.

       3. A portable terminal comprising:
a processor; a display; and a memory having a computer-program stored thereon, the computer-program causing the processor to execute operations including: acquiring (i) a first modulated signal from a first transmission station that transmits the first modulated signal, modulated according to an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) modulation system and (ii) a transmission station identifier which identifies a second transmission station, the second transmission station being different than the first transmission station, via communication circuitry; acquiring a second modulated signal from the second transmission station that transmits the second modulated signal, modulated according to the OFDM modulation system, and demodulating the second modulated signal by using the transmission station identifier during the acquiring of the first modulated signal from the first transmission station and obtaining ticket information from the demodulated second modulated signal.

       4. The portable terminal according to claim 3,
wherein, in the demodulating, switching a demodulating target signal from the first modulated signal to the second modulated signal.

       5. The portable terminal according to claim 4,
wherein, in the demodulating, switching the demodulating target signal from the first modulated signal to the second modulated signal based on a first radio field intensity which indicates a radio field intensity from the first transmission station, and second radio field intensity which indicates radio field intensity from the second transmission station.

       6. The portable terminal according to claim 5,
wherein, in the demodulating, switching the demodulating target signal from the first modulated signal to the second modulated signal when the second radio field intensity is stronger than the first radio field intensity.

       7. The portable terminal according to claim 3,
wherein, in the demodulating, the second modulated signal is demodulated by using a parameter included in the first modulated signal.

       8. The portable terminal according to claim 7,
wherein, the parameter includes an operating frequency.

       9. A non-transitory recording medium having a computer-program stored thereon, the computer-program causing a processor to execute operations comprising:
acquiring (i) a first modulated signal from a first transmission station that transmits the first modulated signal, modulated according to an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) modulation system and (ii) a transmission station identifier which identifies a second transmission station, the second transmission station being different than the first transmission station, via communication circuitry; acquiring a second modulated signal from the second transmission station that transmits the second modulated signal, modulated according to the OFDM modulation system, and demodulating the second modulated signal by using the transmission station identifier during the acquiring of the first modulated signal from the first transmission station and obtaining ticket information from the demodulated second modulated signal.
