Abstract
An individual multimedia contents broadcasting equipment is disclosed, which includes an individual broadcast process unit which provides a private IP through a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) to a receiving terminal, which requests a connection, and makes a connection of the receiving terminal through a radio network, and transmits a broadcast content to the connected receiving terminal; and a radio communication unit which forms a radio network and communicates data with the connected receiving terminal through the radio network.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. A device for transmitting multimedia content, the device operating with an individual wireless connection to a vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU), comprising:
a storing device configured to store multimedia contents;
an operation unit configured to receive a control signal from a user of the device;
a processor; and
a radio communication unit configured to establish the individual wireless connection to the vehicle's ECU and a wireless connection to a mobile network,
wherein the processor is configured to:
create multimedia contents comprising navigation information in real time in accordance with the control signal, and
transmit the multimedia contents comprising navigation information to the vehicle's ECU via the individual wireless connection A portable device comprising:
a memory which stores contents;
an input interface comprising a microphone, a camera, and a touch screen
a radio transceiver; and
a processor which performs, through the radio transceiver, an authentication procedure with a second device, and establishes a private wireless connection to the second device which has passed the authentication procedure, the private wireless connection being established separately from a wireless connection between the portable device and a mobile network,
wherein the processor further:
determines whether the second device has a capability to play contents of the portable device, the portable device being configured as a navigation device;
controls the portable device configured as the navigation device to create multimedia contents by combining a first content obtained in real time at the portable device configured as the navigation device and a second content, the second content being selected from among the contents stored in the memory in accordance with a user's control signal on the input interface; and
controls the portable device configured as the navigation device to start to transmit the multimedia contents to the second device via the private wireless connection, based on a determination that the second device has the capability to play the contents of the portable device configured as the navigation device, and
registers the second device in the portable device based on the determination that the second device has the capability to play the contents of the portable device and a determination that the second device has passed the authentication procedure, and
wherein the transmission of the multimedia contents to the second device is not started in absence of the capability at the second device.
2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the creating the multimedia contents comprising navigation information in real time by the processor comprises:
creating the multimedia contents comprising navigation information based on a stored map data in accordance with the control signal.
3. The portable device of claim 2 claim 1 , wherein the multimedia contents are created using comprise any one or any combination of any two or more of a sound data, an audio data, a text data, and a video data, stored in the storing device memory.
4. The device of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
transmit the multimedia contents stored in the storing device to the vehicle's ECU via the individual wireless connection.
5. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the individual private wireless connection is based on an Industrial, Science, and Medical (ISM) Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure (U-NII) band.
6. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the device further comprises a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Internet Protocol (IP) allocator configured to the processor controls the radio transceiver to allocate a private IP Internet Protocol (IP) address to the vehicle's ECU second device while the radio communication unit transceiver establishes the individual private wireless connection.
7. The portable device of claim 5 claim 1 , wherein the individual private wireless connection is based on an IEEE 802.11 protocol.
8. The portable device of claim 5 claim 1 , wherein the individual private wireless connection is based on a Bluetooth protocol.
9. A method for transmitting multimedia contents with an individual wireless connection to a vehicle's Electronic Control Unit (ECU), the method comprising:
receiving a control signal from a user by an operation unit of a device for transmitting multimedia content; establishing the individual wireless connection to the vehicle's ECU and a wireless connection to a mobile network by a radio communication unit of the device for transmitting multimedia content; creating multimedia contents comprising navigation information in real time in accordance with the control signal by a processor of the device for transmitting multimedia content; storing the multimedia contents by a storing device of the device for transmitting multimedia content; and transmitting the multimedia contents comprising navigation information to the vehicle's ECU via the individual wireless connection by the processor of the device for transmitting multimedia content.
10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the creating of the multimedia contents including navigation information further comprises:
creating the multimedia contents comprising navigation information based on a stored map data in accordance with the control signal by the processor of the device for transmitting multimedia content.
11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the multimedia contents are created using any one or any combination of any two or more of a sound data, an audio data, a text data, and a video data, stored in a storing device.
12. The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
transmitting the multimedia contents stored in a storing device to the vehicle's ECU via the individual wireless connection by the processor of the device for transmitting multimedia content.
13. The method of claim 9 , wherein the individual wireless connection is based on an Industrial, Science, and Medical (ISM) band.
14. The method of claim 9 , wherein the individual wireless connection is based on an IEEE 802.11 protocol.
15. The method of claim 9 , wherein the individual wireless connection is based on a Bluetooth protocol.
16. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the transmission of the multimedia contents to the second device is started only when the second device has the capability to play the contents of the portable device configured as the navigation device.
17. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the private wireless connection is based on a wireless local area network (WLAN).
18. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the private wireless connection is a WiFi-based connection.
19. The portable device of claim 1 , wherein the capability is related to a dedicated software to play the contents of the portable device configured as the navigation device.
20. A method of transmitting a signal by a portable device, the method comprising:
performing an authentication procedure with a second device; and establishing a private wireless connection to the second device which has passed the authentication procedure, the private wireless connection being established separately from a wireless connection between the portable device and a mobile network, determining whether the second device has a capability including a dedicated software to play contents of the portable device, the portable device being configured as a navigation device; creating multimedia contents by combining a first content obtained in real time at the portable device configured as the navigation device and a second content, the second content being selected from among contents stored in the portable device in accordance with a user's control signal, and starting a transmission of the multimedia contents to the second device via the private wireless connection, based on a determination that the second device has the capability to play the contents of the portable device configured as the navigation device, wherein the transmission of the multimedia contents to the second device is not started in absence of the capability at the second device, and wherein the second device is registered in the portable device based on the determination that the second device has the capability to play the contents of the portable device and a determination that the second device has passed the authentication procedure.
