Abstract

To provide a technology for controlling weeds and the like. A herbicidal composition comprising at least one compound selected from Group A, and dicamba N,N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt has a weed control effect: Group A: a group consisting of flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, saflufenacil, oxyfluorfen, fomesafen and a compound represented by the formula (I):

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
The invention claimed is:

       1. A herbicidal composition comprising saflufenacil and dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt,
wherein the weight ratio of saflufenacil to dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt is from 1:0.5 to 1:100 1:10 to 1:40.

       2. The herbicidal composition according to claim 1 , wherein the weight ratio of saflufenacil to dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt is from 1:20 to 1:100 1:40.

       3. A method for controlling weeds, comprising applying saflufenacil and dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt to weeds or soil in a place where the weeds grow or will grow,
wherein the weight ratio of saflufenacil to dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt is from 1:0.5 to 1:100 1:10 to 1:40.

       4. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the weight ratio of saflufenacil to dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt is from 1:20 to 1:100 1:40.

       5. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the place where the weeds grow or will grow is a soybean field, a cotton field, or a corn field.

       6. The method according to claim 5 , wherein a soybean in the soybean field, cotton in the cotton field or corn in the corn field is a genetically-modified soybean, genetically-modified cotton or genetically-modified corn.

       7. The method according to claim 5 , wherein a soybean in the soybean field, cotton in the cotton field or corn in the corn field is a herbicide-resistant genetically-modified soybean, herbicide-resistant genetically-modified cotton or herbicide-resistant genetically-modified corn.

       8. The method according to claim 5 , wherein a soybean in the soybean field or cotton in the cotton field is a dicamba-resistant genetically-modified soybean or dicamba-resistant genetically-modified cotton.

       9. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the weeds are Amaranthus palmeri weeds.

       10. The herbicidal composition according to claim 1 , wherein the composition does not contain glyphosate, or a salt thereof.

       11. The herbicidal composition according to claim 2 , wherein the composition does not contain glyphosate, or a salt thereof.

       12. The method according to claim 3 , wherein the saflufenacil and dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt are applied via a composition comprising the saflufenacil and dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt.

       13. The method according to claim 12 , wherein the composition does not contain glyphosate, or a salt thereof.

       14. The method according to claim 12 , wherein the weeds are Amaranthus palmeri weeds.

       15. The herbicidal composition according to claim 1 , consisting essentially of:
saflufenacil; dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt; at least one carrier; optionally surfactant; and optionally an auxiliary.

       16. The method according to claim 12 , wherein the composition consists essentially of:
saflufenacil; dicamba N, N-bis-(3-aminopropyl)methylamine salt; at least one carrier; optionally surfactant; and optionally an auxiliary.
