Abstract
An image communication system includes a first communication terminal including first circuitry and a second communication terminal including second circuitry. The first circuitry of the first communication terminal transmits, to the second communication terminal, first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image. The first circuitry of the first communication terminal transmits, to the second communication terminal, position information indicating a predetermined position on the first image. The second circuitry of the second communication terminal combines, based on the position information, the second image with the first image at the predetermined position on the first image to generate a combined image. The second circuitry of the second communication terminal displays, on a display, the combined image.

a first communication terminal including first circuitry; and
a second communication terminal including second circuitry,

transmit, to the second communication terminal, first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image, and
transmit, to the second communication terminal, position information indicating a predetermined position on the first image, the position information being information of the predetermined position on the first image represented by the first image data and at which the second image represented by the second image data is combined, and
the second circuitry of the second communication terminal being configured to
combine, based on the position information, the second image represented by the second image data received from the first communication terminal with the first image represented by the first image data received from the first communication terminal on the first image to generate a combined image, and
display, on a display, the combined image.
2. The image communication system of claim 1 ,
wherein the first image data is captured image data, and the second image data is material image data.
3. A communication terminal comprising circuitry configured to:
communicate with another communication terminal to transmit, to the another communication terminal, first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image; receive, according to a user input, an operation of setting a position at which the second image is to be combined with the first image, the position being set on the first image; and transmit, to the another communication terminal, position information indicating the position set by the operation of setting, the first image data, and the second image data.
4. The communication terminal of claim 3 ,
wherein, the first image data is captured image data, and the second image data is material image data.
5. A display control method, comprising:
receiving first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image;
receiving position information indicating a predetermined position on the first image, the position information being information of the predetermined position of the first image represented by the first image data and at which the second image represented by the second image data is combined;
combining, based on the position information, the second image represented by the second image data with the first image represented by the first image data to generate a combined image; and
displaying, on a display, the combined image.
6. A communication terminal, comprising:
circuitry configured to:
receive, from another communication terminal, first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image;
receive, from the another communication terminal, position information indicating a predetermined position on the first image, the position information being information of the predetermined position on the first image represented by the first image data and at which the second image represented by the second image data is combined;
combine, based on the position information, the second image represented by the second image data received from the first another communication terminal with the first image represented by the first image data received from the first communication terminal, at the predetermined position on the first image to generate a combined image; and
display, on a display, the combined image.
7. The image communication system terminal of claim 6 , wherein:
the first image data is captured image data and the second image data is material image data.
8. An information processing method, comprising:
transmitting first image data representing a first image and second image data representing a second image; receiving, according to a user input, an operation of setting a position at which the second image is to be combined with the first image, the position being set on the first image; and transmitting position information indicating the position set by the operation of setting, the first image data, and the second image data.
9. The image communication system of claim 1 , wherein:
the first image data is a panoramic image, and the second image data is material image data.
10. The image communication system of claim 1 , wherein:
the first communication terminal or the second communication terminal includes one of a videoconference terminal, a PC, a smartphone, a digital television, a smartwatch and a car navigation device.
11. The image communication system of claim 1 , wherein:
the first communication terminal receives, according to a user input, an operation of setting the predetermined position on the first image and at which the second image is to be combined with the first image data.
12. The image communication system of claim 1 , wherein the second circuitry of the second communication terminal is further configured to:
receive a change of a size of the second image based on a user operation.
13. The communication terminal of claim 6 , wherein:
the first image data is a panoramic image, and the second image data is material image data.
14. The communication terminal of claim 6 , wherein:
