Abstract

A method for group messaging at a mobile terminal in autonomous network includes acquiring a message and a list of target identifiers, containing the identifiers of multiple mobile terminals to which the message is to be sent; transmitting the message via the autonomous network to any mobile terminal of the multiple mobile terminals that locates in the autonomous network, and removing the identifier of the mobile terminal from the list of target identifiers to obtain an updated list of target identifiers; generating an aggregate message, wherein the aggregate message contains the message and the identifiers in the updated list; sending the aggregate message to a base station if the length of the aggregate message does not exceed a threshold; dividing the aggregate message into multiple fragment messages and sending the multiple fragment messages to the base station if the length of the aggregate message exceeds the threshold.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for message processing in a base station of wireless communication network, comprising:
receiving a message frame from a mobile terminal; if the payload of the received message frame is a fragment message, assembling the fragment message and other fragment messages belonging to the same series as the fragment message into an aggregate message; and disassembling the aggregate message in the payload of the received message frame or obtained by assembling the fragment message to generate multiple standard downlink frames each containing a message and a target mobile terminal identifier, and sending the message to the mobile terminal corresponding to each target mobile terminal identifier.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
if the payload of the received message is not a fragment message, identifying the payload of received message frame as including the aggregate message in full.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining that the received message is a fragment message based at least in part on a message indicator variable in an aggregate header of the received message.

4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
identifying a final message among the other fragment messages belonging to the same series based at least in part on an end-fragment indicator in the final message.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving the received message from a mobile terminal located inside an autonomous network; wherein the message is sent to one or more mobile terminals corresponding to the target mobile identifiers in the multiple standard downlink frames, and wherein the one or more mobile terminals are located outside the autonomous network.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the message comprises content of group messaging for which the message recipients comprise a first set of mobile terminals deemed to be located inside the autonomous network and the one or more mobile terminals deemed to be located outside the autonomous network.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the target mobile identifiers exclude identifiers corresponding to the first set of mobile terminals located inside the autonomous network.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein assembling the fragment message and the other fragment messages belonging to the same series as the fragment message into an aggregate message comprises:
extracting a payload of the fragment message and each of the other fragment messages having an identical message identifier as the fragment message; and combining the extracted payloads sequentially based on a serial number of each of the other fragment messages.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein disassembling the aggregate message comprises extracting one or more target mobile identifiers corresponding to one or more mobile terminals to which the message is directed.
