Method for increasing number of stem cells in human or animal bodies
Abstract
A method of evaluating an action includes (1) obtaining a first stem-cell data related to a subject before performing the action, (2) performing the action on the subject, (3) obtaining a second stem-cell data related to the subject after performing the action, and (4) identifying the effect of the action on the subject based on the first stem-cell data and the second stem-cell data. The subject may be a human or an animal. The action may be taking a drug or taking a nutrient or dietary supplement, which may include fucoidan. Each of the first and second stem-cell data may include the count of a type or types of stem cells and/or the percentage of the type or types of stem cells and may be obtained by the same method including counting cells using a cell counter or cell counting device such as flow cytometer.

1 . A method of evaluating the effect of one or more actions, comprising:
obtaining a first sample from a tissue of a subject; analyzing said first sample to obtain a first data relating to information of a type or types of stem cells; after said obtaining said first sample, performing a first action on said subject; after said performing said first action on said subject, obtaining a second sample from said tissue of said subject; analyzing said second sample to obtain a second data relating to information of said type or types of stem cells; and performing a first analysis based on said first data and said second data.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said tissue comprises blood.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first action comprises taking a drug.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first action comprises taking a nutrient or dietary supplement.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first action comprises taking a fucoidan-containing pill.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said analyzing said first sample comprises counting cells using a flow cytometer, and said analyzing said second sample comprises counting cells using a flow cytometer.
7 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
after said obtaining said second sample, performing a second action on said subject;
after said performing said second action on said subject, obtaining a third sample from said tissue of said subject;
analyzing said third sample to obtain a third data relating to information of said type or types of stem cells; and
performing a second analysis based on said first data and said third data.
8 . The method of claim 7 further comprising performing a comparison based on a criterion and a change obtained based on said second analysis.
9 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
after said obtaining said second sample, performing a second action on said subject;
after said performing said second action on said subject, obtaining a third sample from said tissue of said subject;
analyzing said third sample to obtain a third data relating to information of said type or types of stem cells; and
performing a second analysis based on said second data and said third data.
10 . The method of claim 9 further comprising performing a comparison based on a criterion and a change obtained based on said second analysis.
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said type or types of stem cells comprise a type of pluripotent stem cells.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first data comprises the number of stem cells of said type or types relating to said first sample, and said second data comprises the number of stem cells of said type or types relating to said second sample.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said performing said first analysis comprises performing a comparison based on said first data and said second data.
14 . The method of claim 1 further comprising performing a comparison based on a criterion and a change obtained based on said first analysis.
15 . The method of claim 1 further comprising performing a comparison based on a criterion and said second data.
16 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
before said performing said first action on said subject, obtaining a third data relating to a liver or kidney function of said subject;
after said performing said first action on said subject, obtaining a fourth data relating to a liver or kidney function of said subject; and
performing a second analysis based on said third data and said fourth data so as to evaluate the effect of said first action on the liver or kidney of said subject.
17 . A method of evaluating the effect of an action based on a criterion for a type or types of stem cells, comprising:
performing said action on a subject; after said performing said action on said subject, obtaining a sample from said subject; analyzing said sample to obtain a data relating to information of said type or types of stem cells; and performing a comparison based on said data and said criterion.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein said sample is obtained from peripheral blood of said subject.
19 . The method of claim 17 , wherein said action comprises taking a fucoidan-containing pill.
