Abstract

System and methods for accurate measurement and real-time feedback of solar ultraviolet exposure for management of ultraviolet dose. The systems can include a wearable device and a mobile device, the system performing accurate measurement of UV exposure.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A computer executable method for user selection of a UV dose threshold quantity, the computer executable method adapted to be stored on a user device, comprising:
presenting on the display of the user device a user-adjustable interface adapted to allow the user to interact with the user-adjustable interface to choose a user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity.

2 . The method of claim 1 further comprising causing the user-chosen UV dose threshold to be input to a method that is adapted to indicate how much time the subject can remain in current conditions before reaching the UV dose threshold quantity.

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the user-adjustable interface comprises at least one of a text field, a slider, and a selectable menu.

4 . A personal UV sensing system, comprising:
a user device with a computer executable method stored thereon, the computer executable method comprising: presenting on the display of the user device a user-adjustable interface adapted to allow the user to interact with the user-adjustable interface to choose a user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity.

5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the computer executable method is further adapted to cause the user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity to be input to a method that indicates how much time the subject can remain in current conditions before reaching the user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity

6 . A computer executable method for use in the user selection of a UV dose threshold quantity, the computer executable method adapted to be stored on a user device and comprising:
receiving as input a user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity, the quantity chosen using a user-adjustable interface on a display of the user device, causing the chosen quantity to be input to a method that indicates how much time the subject can remain in current conditions before reaching the user-chosen UV dose threshold quantity.
