Abstract
A yarn containing a plurality of potential-generating filaments. The yarn is characterized in that the plurality of potential-generating filaments are constructed such that the yarn has a specific permittivity of 4.5 or less. In a specific configuration, the plurality of potential-generating filaments are constructed such that the distance between the potential-generating filaments is about 0 μm to about 10 μm. Also provided is a fabric that contains the yarn.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A yarn comprising a plurality of potential-generating filaments constructed such that the yarn has a specific permittivity of 4.5 or less.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the specific permittivity is 1.0 to 4.5.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of potential-generating filaments are constructed such that the yarn has an impedance of 4.0×10 6 Ωm or more.
. The yarn according to claim 3 , wherein the impedance is of 4.0×10 6 Ωm to 1.8×10 7 Ωm.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of potential-generating filaments are constructed such that the yarn has a resistivity of 1.4×10 4 Ωm or more.
. The yarn according to claim 5 , wherein the resistivity is 1.4×10 4 Ωm to 2.3×10 15 Ωm.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of potential-generating filaments comprise a piezoelectric material.
. The yarn according to claim 7 , wherein the piezoelectric material comprises poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA).
. The yarn according to claim 8 , wherein the poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) has a crystallinity of 35% or more.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , further comprising a dielectric on at least a part of a periphery of at least some of the plurality of potential-generating filaments.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric comprises an oil agent.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric has conductivity.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric comprises an antistatic agent.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric comprises air.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric comprises a polymer.
. The yarn according to claim 15 , wherein the polymer comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of an ester-based polymer and an urethane-based polymer.
. The yarn according to claim 10 , wherein the dielectric comprises a metal oxide.
. The yarn according to claim 17 , wherein the metal oxide is a titanium oxide.
. The yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the yarn is free of a surface treating agent.
. A fabric comprising the yarn according to claim 1 .Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
