Abstract

Antiallergically-active pyrimidine derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or C 1-4 -alkyl, and R 2 is hydrogen or methyl, prepared starting from corresponding 4-oxothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine derivatives, are described.

I claim: 
     
       1. A compound of the formula ##STR11## wherein R 1  is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or C 1-4  -alkyl, R 2  is hydrogen or methyl and R 3  and R 4  is C 1-4  -alkyl. 
     
     
       2. A compound in accordance with claim 1, 2-methylthio-4-oxothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-3(4H)-acetic acid methyl ester. 
     
     
       3. A compound in accordance with claim 1, 2-methylthio-7-methyl-4-oxothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-3(4H)-acetic acid methyl ester. 
     
     
       4. A compound of the formula ##STR12## wherein R 1  is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or C 1-4  -alkyl, R 2  is hydrogen or methyl and R 3  is C 1-4  -alkyl. 
     
     
       5. A compound in accordance with claim 4, 1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-2-thioxothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-3-(2H)-acetic acid methyl ester. 
     
     
       6. A compound in accordance with claim 4, 1,4-dihydro-7-methyl-4-oxo-2-thioxothieno[3,2-d]-pyrimidine-3(2H)-acetic acid methyl ester.
