Abstract
A vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick includes a lower plate and an upper plate. The upper plate covers the lower plate to form a chamber between the lower plate and the upper plate. The upper plate includes an outer plate, at least one inner plate superposed with the outer plate and located in the chamber and at least one sandwiched wick layer sandwiched between the outer plate and the inner plate. The lower plate is disposed with a lower wick structure located in the chamber. The sandwiched wick layer is formed with a connecting edge corresponding to and projecting from a periphery of the inner plate. The connecting edge is in contact with the lower wick structure. The upper plate uses the outer plate and the inner plate to make the sandwiched wick layer able to guarantee backflow of the liquid working fluid.

1 . A vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick, comprising:
a lower plate; and an upper plate, covering the lower plate to form a chamber between the lower plate and the upper plate, the upper plate comprising an outer plate, at least one inner plate superposed with the outer plate and located in the chamber and at least one sandwiched wick layer sandwiched between the outer plate and the inner plate; wherein the lower plate is disposed with a lower wick structure located in the chamber, the sandwiched wick layer is formed with a connecting edge corresponding to a periphery of the inner plate and projecting from the periphery of the inner plate, and the connecting edge is in contact with the lower wick structure.

The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 1 , wherein the lower wick structure is further disposed with a lateral portion attached along an inner wall of a periphery of the chamber, the lateral portion matches with the inner wall of the periphery of the chamber and extends toward the outer plate to be in contact with the connecting edge.
3 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 1 , wherein the inner plate is disposed with an upper wick structure.
4 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 3 , wherein a periphery of the upper wick structure is in contact with the lower wick structure.
5 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 1 , further comprising at least one tube portion, wherein the tube portion comprises a closed end and an open end, and the outer plate is disposed with at least one connecting hole to communicate with the open end.
6 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 5 , wherein a tube wick structure is disposed in the tube portion.
7 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 6 , wherein the tube wick structure is extended with a flange from the open end of the tube portion, the sandwiched wick layer is disposed with at least one linking hole corresponding to the connecting hole, and a size of the linking hole is less than an outer diameter size of the flange to make the sandwiched wick layer be in contact with the tube wick structure.
8 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 7 , wherein the inner plate of the upper plate is further disposed with at least one through hole corresponding to the linking hole so as to make the chamber communicate with an inside of the tube portion.
9 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 8 , wherein the tube portion is formed with a tube end outside the flange of the tube wick structure, and the tube end is joined with the inner plate.
10 . The vapor chamber with a sandwiched upper wick of claim 6 , wherein each of the sandwiched wick layer and the tube wick structure is constituted by woven mesh.Cited by (0)
